Present Time in

T – 24 hours.

Actually, I ordered an eyeliner and lip gloss (purchased from a makeup company in Germany) with the package to arrive in Texas. It was sitting at the sorting center for days, but it says it’s on the delivery truck now, so it should be less than 24 hours for me to get my present to myself. I guess Christmas really will find me.

The cover pic is of Santa. I suppose you guessed that. I was on a vintage train ride called the North Pole Express, which in case you don’t know is in Grapevine, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, and Santa was on the train greeting the children. With Mrs. Claus too. I thought he was a really convincing Santa. I can picture that Santa in very different clothes and riding a Harley on the off times though. The train folks, at the direction of the quite stern Mrs. Claus, gave out bells to the children, but were foolish enough to leave the box of bells in the back, so someone who isn’t a child might have one too. Or might not, you never know. What I will confirm I have is a craft-made piece of tinsel, made on the spot by a costumed craftsman who held the tin strip of one’s choice in a vice and turned it with pliers the number of twists each customer selected, forming it to look like vertical tinsel. That was an old-timey trade featured at the train grounds. The tinsel is the cutest thing ever. It’s the little things, right?

Anyway, this is just a quick little hello to all. I hope you all have a great Christmas and New Years’ holiday, and other holidays if those suit you.

XOXO!
