October 2, 2022 — There was a tribute concert a while back for Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters. They did another a few days ago in Los Angeles. The classic rock station here talked about it for days. The DJs made jokes that it might still be going on. Apparently, it went on for hours. It seemed like something great.

One of the DJs during drive-time talked about Brian May’s performance, said it was just him and a guitar. The DJ seemed really moved by it. It took me a few days to remember to look it up. The DJ is right. It’s a sweet performance, and yes, there’s something powerful about seeing talent so strong it doesn’t need anyone else. I agree.

Honestly, it seems like such a metaphor for a lot of things for my life right now. Oh to be that brave!
