…okay this was a long time ago, 1992 to be exact, but still, Nuno Bettencourt and Gary Cherone were in Vogue. I have a really good memory for this sort of thing, and all this talk of Extreme on our other pages made me think of this — the April 1992 feature in Vogue; that and I’m too sleepy to do a real story this weekend. The photos were done by fashion photographer Bruce Weber, and the theme was “gypsy” clothes. As far as I know this was Nuno’s only Vogue feature. The funny thing is, I really didn’t know him them, didn’t know Extreme, but I remember liking his hair! Seriously, I really do remember this issue. Fast forward to 2014, and I wish I had known his music then.
