How many bands get their start playing weddings? Who even knows how to estimate that question? Does anybody actually like wedding bands? What if a famous band played at your wedding, or your friend’s wedding? Or how about this: what if a famous band crashed your wedding? Talk about upstaging the bride! Well… Maroon 5’s latest video shows young-girl-heart-throb Adam Lambert’s band crashing weddings, and turns out, they actually did. This video was supposedly crafted from the footage of that adventure.

I’m not a big fan of this band, but this is seriously cute! And it just makes me go hummmmm. I wonder how this would have gone over with my favorite bands when I was the age of these brides, my parents, my grandparents sitting there watching a little … Van Halen, or a little Led Zeppelin, or a little Def Leppard, or a little Rolling Stones. And what in the world would those guys have played? Sometimes we think things were better then, but the generation gap was just too much then for any band to … go back to weddings.
