Released today is news that Eddie and Alex Van Halen signed a deal with Atlas Music Publishing for the rights of all the Van Halen catalog except “A Different Kind of Truth.” Atlas has the article on their website; apparently their CEO is a big fan. The article mentions no involvement by David Lee Roth, apparent involvement by Azoff, and credit for PR to Janie Van Halen.

Notably this is a press release by Atlas, not by Van Halen, of course. So…
