In the continuing saga of I Need to Get Out More, subtitled I Need a Boyfriend Who Will Go Do Stuff Like This With Me, seeing as this is actually in my BACK-YARD so to speak, check THIS STUFF out!  Okay granted, I’m not “friends” of the band, I’m not “media”, at least in the minds of the actual media, so I probably couldn’t have gone, but this looks like it was a total blast, and I get all silly realizing “THIS STUFF” is … down … the … street!  “THIS STUFF” was last night’s performance with most of the members of Aerosmith and Slash at the Whiskey a Go-Go, which is about two and a half miles from my house, literally the first time Aerosmith performed at the Whiskey since, are you ready for this date…December 4, 1973!  At least that date is truly is too early for me to have been anything other than a very young girl.  Finally, something in a rock story that I didn’t actually live.  The performance was the musical version of a press conference confirming earlier pre-announcements of their upcoming summer tour, and confirming that the tour would also include Slash and his vocalist Miles Kennedy.  The press is genuinely excited about this one.  Me?  I like the outfits.  Oh … and the hair, well except for Steven Tyler’s beard; I could do without that!  The songs are great too!  And seriously, how am I going to afford this summer?
