Happy Easter Eggs!

March 31, 2018 — I’m feeling all holiday today, so Happy Easter y’all! I heard this yesterday, and it made me laugh. Who remembers doing this?!

Actually, this guy is a bit tough, but the egg-dying ritual was my favorite part of Easter, that and Easter is sort of a  mini-Christmas. The reason for my love of the egg-dying and that Easter egg coloring kit was my brother. My brother saw the Easter Bunny when he was very young, meaning in the years we were given our outside Easter egg hunt by said “Easter bunny” (apparently who was my grandmother), but honestly, no matter how many times he tried to ruin it for me, I loved hunting for Easter eggs. In fact, I’d probably still do it if it were socially not crazy for a woman of my years to get out there with the kids on the hunt. In fact, that’s a sad day when they tell you, when you’re still a kid, but too big of a kid, that you can no longer participate in the hunts. Well, and then there’s that melting snow of the Canadian home of my elementary school years, so I think I might have missed a few Easter-egg-hunt-years I shouldn’t have. But in those years, we did have those egg coloring kits. Even my brother liked those. So this comedy clip was funny for me. Paas — I am a fan! That was fun, really fun!

Happy Easter, and Happy all other holidays, Passover, anything else, I’m missing.
